Ingredients:
- 1 cup of pitted dates
- ½ tablespoon of cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Method:
- In a heat proof bowl, cover the dates with boiling water and soak for 1 hour.
- Drain the dates and place them in a food processor with the cocoa and vanilla.
- Process until you have a smooth paste.
- Roll into teaspoon sized balls or use the mixture to fill a silicone heart shaped chocolate mould tray.
- Place in the freezer to set.
- Defrost for 10 minutes before serving.
